Child care is available for all families during our summer program and is offered in week blocks only. Families will be billed for the weeks that they have signed up for. If a family does not require any care during the summer, they may register their child for our fall program without jeopardizing their space.                  
Parents will receive a summer attendance form a minimum of one billing period prior to the end of the school year. Parents must indicate if a) they require care during the summer and b) which weeks they require care. All forms must be returned to the administrative office by the specified due date. Any changes to the forms will not be made after this date. Families may be permitted to add weeks to their child's summer schedule if there is available space.

Parents who receive government subsidy will be charged their scheduled family portion plus the non-subsidized fee for the days in which their child is scheduled to attend. Allowable absences will only be recorded for the weeks in which the child was scheduled to attend.

The centres will be closed on Canada Day and the Civic Holiday (August). Families who are registered for the weeks where these holidays fall will be billed the ful fee amount for these days.

The summer program offers abundant planned activities, outdoor experiences, field trips, guest speakers, morning and afternoon snacks, special lunches; for no extra cost to the families. The centres supply insect repellant and sunscreen for all children. If families wish to use a specific brand, it is their responsibility to bring it for their child.

Notice will be provided informing families which centres will remain open during the summer program.
